The Modern Jack And The Beanstalk
Beginning
One day, a boy named Jack decide to sell his cow for some money. He went to the market and found an old man who wants to trade the cow with the magic giant beans. Jack was amazed by the magic bean that has been showed by the old man so he agrees.
Middle
Jack went home with the beans. His mother was angry because he returned home without money. She took the beans and threw them out of the window.
The next day. Jack was surprised to see a big beanstalk outside. So he climbed and he climbed till he reached the sky. And when he got there he found a long broad road going as straight as a dart. So he walked along and he walked along and he walked along till he came to a great big tall house, and on the doorstep, there was a great big giant sleeping.
Suddenly, the giant woke up and saw Jack. Jack was not scared. He told the giant that his family was poor. He asked if the giant could help him and his mother with the treasures the giant had. The giant felt sorry for Jack. So, he gave Jack a lot of food and treasures he had. After that, he told Jack to come again.
Jack and his mother lived happily ever after. They thanked the giant for helping them.

· Long ago in a faraway land in a China, there lived a poor boy. His name was Kuang Heng.
· He wrote many books and became famous in China. It was his determination and diligence that made him a famous person.
· While growing up, he had to work in the fields during the day and read at night. Unfortunately, he was still poor and it troubled him that he had to use candles to read.
· He took his knife and widened the hole to allow more light to come in.
· One night, he saw a ray of light through a hole in the wall. Kuang Heng went near to see where the light was coming from.
· He saw a ray of light shining through a hole in the wall. It caught his attention.
· However, being born in a poor family, Kuang Heng could not afford to buy books. So he would work for the rich and asked for nothing more in return than books. They would give him a lot of books because he was helpful and hardworking.
